Artist's Statement
For my creative works I begin by focusing on one thing important to my life. Music, nature, and life are what i focused on. For my works on people I chose successful rappers that are either still alive rapping or retired. My art style varies from photography to drawing an painting and editing photos. During my process I'd listen to classic hip hop albums either while editing or drawing. For my photos i use a high dynamic range camera, i adjust the colors so that they pop and adjust the sharpness of the images to get as much detail as possible. For some of my photographs i used a Macro lens in order to capture the terpenes and trichomes of what im photographing. My rapper edits and drawings go with the style of those rappers and what they're known for culturally. My concentration could be defined as California mainstream culture because I demonstrate two things California is known for. When working on my art, it can be said it is a reflection of my true essence.
