When first trying out my cars for the photo taking process, they didn’t seem to free stand very well. I had to improvise and use things like toothpicks to help them free stand or prevent the hood or trunk from popping open. After trying numerous times, I ended up with mostly unsatisfactory shots of an awkward standing car against a wall. I managed to make one favorite photo of mine of a car leaning on a wall and there are multiple shadow lines and the lines of the car, wall and platform that make the image interesting. After that first photo shoot, it was clear I had to change how I would continue shooting. My second attempt used a shiny wooden table as a surface for some shots I thought could prove some sort of cool effect. At first glance, the photos were mediocre or just not good, but after re-scrolling through some of them, I noticed they reflected very nicely in the deep brown of the table. I was able to use this effect to create more reflective photos that proved nicely compared to the earlier ones. One photos reflection was very clear and colorful, which made for an interesting shot with an upside down car reflected. Another photo I took and greatly liked was the car hanging off the edge of the table and taken at an angle. The photo is really dark o there is not much intricate detail, but the background added multi-shaded lines that contrasted well with the other apparent lines of the photo.
