My Process
My main concentration while shooting pictures is landscape pictures. My general process if taking pictures has been to find a location with a good line of sight to the horizon. Something i tend to usually do when i find places is to avoid as much scraggle or obstructions of the main horizon line. Finding a good horizon line is very difficult for me because of the area in which i live, there is a ton of obstructions and stuff that generally clutter up the shot. I also tend to look for shots that have a good balance of colors. I dislike having to take pictures on overcast days, because of the fact that all the colors come out very washed out and unpleasant to look at. This has also been a problem as of late because of the general overcast weather in my area. When ever i am shooting i try to find a more secluded area without many people because i tend to get distracted when shooting. Another problem that i run into while shooting is going to locations to actually take pictures, I do not have a car in order to get around so it makes it hard to actually find exotic spots. One thing that was easy for me is editing the pictures in post production because I tend to find colors that i like and integrate them into the shot while im taking the picture, so editing is a cut and dry operation that usually involves cropping or brightening some colors.
